I am glad to see that. A good step into the right direction for him. Now just if they made any of the things I need at the moment.

How can you build an extra long 1/2" combination wrench and only charge $3.98 for it? That don't add up.

The short answer is that, the wrench isn't made in the USA. Buy it, try it, and see if you like it. Who knows, you may like it more than your Gearwrench screwdrivers.

GW makes a whole heck of a lot of profit off of their tools and you can see it here.

gw stuff is way overpriced, a lot of times you can pick up mac, matco or other pro brands on ebay for same price

FYI M y next shipment will probably be triple the size of my last order.
Also have lined up a tech to do the shopping cart thing. Won't start working on the site until 2-3 weeks (new year)

My prices for wrenches, ratchets, and sockets will be going up but the other stuff will stay exactly the same.

The deal before the end of the year is still a 20% discount to members. I am working on a permanent discount rate for members that will be fair for you and me and I'll let you know in the New Year as well.

Merry Xmas!

FYI prices won't be going up too much so do not worry. I will ALWAYS be 50% or more less expensive than the brands sold in vans...etc.

Sincerely,

When is that coming in Mike and will you have the Hook and Pick sets and the long Pliers? Waiting for those to come I have been slowly assembling a list of stuff to order.

Speed...probably still 2 months...I know it's a long time to wait but I will be tripling my inventory and trying to know what you all want isn't the easiest thing in the world.....but I sure do enjoy it. Yes, the pick set and the long pliers will be on there for sure.
FYI Those are easy decisions. the hard ones are .....how many individual sockets and wrenches to carry vs sets. How much standard vs metric. Thise are tough ones!!!
Those of you that are waiting, I will take care of you. i will not forget the first customers.

Good point, makes me think about high profit margins. I could sell Asian tools on ebay, and be able to afford any USA tool I want.:lol_hitti

What's the story with these tools? Are they European? High quality Asian imports?

ChiCom stuff.

"High quality Asian imports" There's a new oxymoron. :lol_hitti

Opposite of 'chicom stuff'.
Call someone a communist on the street in Taipei and you have a 60% chance of getting your teeth knocked down your throat.

The country, founded to FIGHT the Chi-Coms, and still at war with the Reds, is mostly small to medium businesses, full of very honest, very hard working people.
And the quality of the tools I’ve bought from TopTul way exceeds the quality of many US makers. More to the shame of the US makers than anything else.

I stand corrected.

ROC stuff. Still made in Asia and very cheap. I'm a firm believer that you usually get exactly what you pay for.

Of course you are entitled to your opinion, but those of us who actually have the TopTul stuff will disagree. I have Snap-On, Mac, Matco, Craftsman, Armstrong, Williams, Proto, and lots of other brands. TopTul is pretty nice stuff. If you didn't live so far away (I'm in Southern California) I'd invite you to a 'wrenching session' and you could see what I mean.

By the way, I was at least as skeptical as you are. I'd pretty much removed ALL the Asian tools from my boxes. Some Euro tools, Klein, etc. but almost every Asian thing was gone. (exception, some Gearwrench) Then I tried some of the TopTul and I'm quite happy to include it with my tools.

Im looking at the GAAA 0610. Flat extra long box wrenches. 8-24mm is 71$!?!?! The downside? TOPTUL doesnt make an 18mm. Wtf is that about?! Killin me, because 71$ is better than even 130 that genius sells them for, let alone the $250 off the truck. I guess gearbox for 125 isnt bad, but still, these are HALF the price.

It is interesting. It is ALWAYS the people who don't have one of these tools in their hand that are the quickest to judge. Just an observation....

Thanks for the kind words Chris!

KART...sorry Toptul doesn't make a size you're looking for yet.....
That's about all I can say but I will mention the missing size to them.

Sincerely,
