I'd be interested in hearing your opinions on the matter. Ignore the CDI being 3/8 drive, if you will. ;)

The QD2R200 would be a def. snag if you got it for the right price, but the 1/4in would be cool too....

solution, buy both....

they retail for around 250 each....

they are the same TW made by the same mfr (cdi). the only difference is the drives size. i would go with the 3/8.

I prefer 1/4 drive for inch pound stuff. Either Torque wrench will serve you well. I would probably skip these two and look at Gearwrench models. The Gearwrench models have 60 tooth ratchet heads which I prefer to 36 teeth. The Techangle series of torque wrenches have really spoiled me with their ability to switch between foot lbs, inch lbs, and Nm. I also like the way it vibrates when the desired torque is reached. They are expensive though.

For this low of a torque range, you certainly want the 1/4 drive. We are talking a max of 16 ft/lbs which any quarter drive socket can stand. You might need to get into a tight spot that the 3/8 drive won't let you.
