I picked up a box just like this off auction...
http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?P65=&tool=all&item_ID=930&group_ID=51&store=snapon-store&dir=catalog
I'm not sure if this is a newer style Ferret type box. Does anyone have any pics of what was originally in it new? Looks like by the curves of the dividers a speeder for sure, a spot for some short and long sockets too...but as for anything else???:headscrat

It's for 1/4" drive tool sets. I have a full set and will try to provide you a photo. I know it's here somewhere in some past threads. Billymade, do you remember the old thread on these boxes or have that photo I attached? :headscrat

Pics would be great. Although the auction said "vintage" it's obviously not. Looked like a good candidate for a little sand blast and a quality paint job. Then I can work on filling it. I actually thought it was 3/8 drive but 1/4 is even better because I have more of the tools already.

That's exactly what I did. Actually, I didn't fill it with the original tools like in Snapmom's pic, but rather filled it with SAE and metric sockets, standard, deep, and swivel. I think it's filled with 80+ assorted 1/4" Snap-on drive tools.
