Where do ya'll source your repair parts for Plomb and Armstrong ratchets? The few that I recently picked up are missing screws and the mechanisms are loose.....

Proto 5449 parts will fit the Plomb 5449 ratchets (thats for 1/2" I don't remember the # for 3/8" and 1/4" but the correct series Proto parts will fit them also". On the WF series Plombs I keep "parts" ratchets since I do not think there are parts available for these. Parts for the WF series Plombs are also the same as the "U" series Craftsman ratchets.

Screws you can get at a hardware store for the plomb, i like stainless steel versions, and use my klein wire stripper that has a built in bolt cutter to cut them to length, you can also get the urrea kits a little cheaper if you want for the protos to save a few dollars. Just a thought.

I have some pictures of the urrea kits on here somewhere and i think the screws are 5249- 6-32 5449- 10-32(need to check to make sure, I could be wrong) and for some reason i never could find out what the 4749 were, using feeler gauges i could never find a match for some reason.
