so i went on the snap on truck today only to warranty my T72 ratchet and while i was looking around i saw a TechAngle on his used stuff shelf. since i dont have one I pulled it out to take a look and he said he would give me a killer deal on it. he told me that the guy that had it didnt know how to use the angle part (it confused him i guess) so he returned it. so i pulled out a socket and put it in his vise and it seems to work fine. Score!!! ATECH2FR100 lists for $439 new and i got it for $200 even. recently calibrated and it was manufactured in april of 2008 so its not even old.

Those techangle's are the bees knees for torque to yield fasteners, good score.

If someone didn't know how to use the techangle I'm not sure I'd want them working on my car...

exactly, my dealer said that first he thought it was broken so he sent it out for repair. then got it back because SO said it was fine. then he still thought it was broken so he bitched about it and my dealer swaped it out for him. then he ended up returning that one because he was fed up with it. i got that one. so this guy is obviously not that swift.

NICE, ive earned a you suck! , 3 more and i can cash them in for another sweet deal.
Congrats! High end tools like this sure are a pleasure to use; especially when everyone thinks you probably paid $400 big ones for it too.

You're gonna love it!! Speeds your book-time immensely and eliminates a LOT of scratch-figuring. You couldn't take mine away. Glenn

nice find. I think you only qualify for the "you suck" award if you get more than 80% off retail. Anybody know for sure?

Yeah, I think you got a great deal. Used ones in great shape aren't easy to find. I think it's easily the best torque wrench made. The vibrating feature is my favorite part of the tool. You'll never want to use another toque wrench again after using it.

Just keep a pack of AAs around. I have a couple of the regular Tech wrenches, (which are really great BTW), but they do use batteries quite a bit.
