That would be cool for my 62' Chevy II, too bad I don't have an extra however much that'll go for in my wallet. :(

Vlchek is a pretty common tool brand. I run into them all the time at the flea market while looking for Plomb. There is a lot of information about Vlchek over at Alloy Artifacts. Don't know about the Gedore. Most of the Chevy guys are always looking for McKaig-Hatch tools which were pretty prevalent in 60's era GM tool kits.

$1,986.61 for that tool kit! Could have bought the car when it was new for that price.

I had a complete box of sets like that I pulled out of a Chevy dealer in 1982, but I didn't get anywhere near that amount of money for them when I sold them. I didn't even get half of what that one set sold for for all the sets that I had. Sure wish that I had kept one for myself. I thought that I was being a "crook" selling them for $100 each!!!!!!! I guess that if you keep something long enough, even S**** with turn to gold.. :lol_hitti
