Anyone care to date this for me? I looked at the SO date codes and it really doesnt look like any of them.

Do you have a "macro" feature/setting on your camera? It really helps for those closeup shots of tools... :)

that & a tripod to mount the camera on to keep still.

I did set it to macro. There is only so much you can do with a cheap, old camera!

Please don't take this as insulting but with the macro feature "on" you can move your camera right up to the subject being "shot". If you don't have a tripod you can just set the camera down on something; use the "timer" setting to automatically have the shutter go off, when you are not holding the camera and this eliminates the possibility of movement (hopefully)! :) Good luck!
