Looks good but I'm guessing it Taiwan made Williams. It has the "new" Williams writing on it, not the old style. All of the Williams with the new logo I've seen are made in Taiwan.

Yeah, I don't trust a William ratchet that does not say "Superratchet"!

williams online catalog does not give a country of origin so i'd say your right.

I say that price is way to high for a Taiwan set. The ones from Northern tool are very good for 69.00 bucks. If the Williams set were 150 bucks, or so I would cry good deal. Taiwan for 375 bucks, screw them! I would call Mike for Toptul before handing that money over for a "big name" hoax!(Williams)

Williams make the newer Blue Point, hand tool line, No? I'll bet a 12 pack the set is Taiwan. They look like a good set of tools, but the price is way wrong if I'm right.IMO

I think we agree with each other. I'm saying the set IS made in Taiwan. It has the Taiwan style Williams logo script on it.

Oh! my goodness, more re-labels. I could see the conveyor belt moving, these to Williams, these to Northern Tool, these to HF pro Pittsburgh, just stamp them different, and put a better ratchet, and pretty box for the Williams so unsuspecting folks pay alot more, because they see our name.:headscrat:headscrat:headscrat:headscrat It's all becoming a blur, maybe I will start going to flea markets.:bounce:

Yeah, they got sneaky on that set. They have the older (US) style "Williams" on the box, but look at the picture of the ratchet (?) and it's the new (Taiwan) style "Williams" script. I'm going with a HIGHLY overpriced Taiwan made Williams set.

rebranding has been going on in the tool industry forever. a lot of old companies did contract production for other brands.

Were the prices so out of whack, from one to the other? Re-labeling can be ok, so long as they don't gouge so deeply. For instance, re-labeled Lisle tools, that say Blue Point are not THAT much more than Lisle tools themselves, price wise.

Honestly, I hope your right, but I'm guessing Taiwan. I have never seen any Williams with that particular script that was US made. It's too bad Williams name is being put on asian made stuff.

I don't like fake boobs, they lose the natural giggle. That woman is nasty, looks like a cross dresser to me. I like the "Alicia Silverstone" looking type, but then again Nikki Dial has a certain something about her too!:headscrat
