Ok, I bent a couple of my old Canadian Tire Mastercraft wrenches the other day. Those babies worked hard for me but now I'm thinking about buying something of better quality.
I've narrowed down to a couple choices. I think i'm going to go with Wiha's combination wrenches (Heyco). I've thought about SK's but they're more expensive and probably no better. Also, I was thinking about buying a set of Gray wrenches but I have no idea how good they are and they're quite pricey......are they still made in Canada? What do you guys think?
I was thinking about Signet, but I believe they're made in China no? Danaher perhaps?

Hazet or Heyco are good, You'll probably hear from the tool truck crowd here any second now.

Where are you looking to purchase the Wiha wrenches from if you go with those? I'm always curious about people's sources.
I'm also in the market and have been leaning toward the Wiha ones.

Have you thought about considering Toptul? The quality is up there with the brands you mentioned above and less than $150 less than the Heycos. Here is some pictures I have of one. (http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showpost.php?p=379947&postcount=100)

I have always had great luck with Heyco wrenches. In fact, Heyco makes one of the best marine sets I know of. Do you have a picture of the Heyco wrenches? I'll bet they sure are pretty.

Living in Nova Scotia, Canada my dealer options are quite limited. If I go for the Wiha's, i'll be ordering from Chadstoolbox.com

those toptul's don't look like anything to go crazy over.. Not a fan of the open end, a tad too chunky.
I would check around and try to find a set of used SO wrenches.

This is a great time to get a set of used professional wrenches, from your brand of choice.... check the "usual suspects" craigslist, pawn shops, flea markets, etc. I'm seeing a bigger inventory of tools with the economy the way it is... good luck! :) I would rather have pro used tools then lesser quality new tools any time!

But Billy, wouldn't you agree that the fine German steel of new Wiha and Heyco would be sweet? I know I'd be all over them.
