Found a Tech 1000 for sale locally, not sure of the exact size yet or model number, but i do know it is a top and a bottom. It is completely full of tools. He was a brake, exhaust and suspension tech. He was hurt and is now out of work. He was asking $2800 complete. He explained it as "as wide as 2 refridgerators and as tall as one. Let me know what you guys think. 90% snap on, mac, matco and CMAN

Is it worth taking a look at?

Hell ya it's worth looking at . Shit the box alone has to be worth that and if you don't need the tools just send them to me.

I'm not much of a MAC fan but I seem to remember the Tech 1000 boxes as inexpensive starter boxes.

Sound really good...just make sure the boxes and tools are paid for before you hand over cash. If the fellow can't produce receipts, check the serial number with MAC credit.
