How long has this deal been active? Buy the 1/4 drive set for $400 and get 2 free ratchets.

I think they would sell more sets if they were metric sockets. Don't get me wrong, I have these snap on sockets and the all chrome T72 series ratchets but, the idea of paying $396.70 for 3 ratchets, a couple of extensions, a universal joint, and 20 sockets in 1/4 inch drive seems a bit insane to me. I know that that works out to about $15.26 a piece. I also know the pain is easier to take in increments of $25-$50 a week but, it still hurts especially when alot of techs are having problems making ends meet. It's just my opinion, there's nothing wrong with the set if you can afford it. My old age makes me more vunerable to sticker shock.

I might have jumped if it was a metric set. I already bought the complete set they were selling two years ago, but I was tempted because of the 72tooth ratchets for free.

To expensive, and why 2 standard ratchets? Like Snap-On...but for that money you get much more by other competitors. I would suggest, buy a T72 and a 1/4" flex head....and all the other stuff like socket etc. from craftsman, gearwrench or sk.

Even a snap on buy one get one free offer is still way too much for me. I like the ratchets but I can get by with cheaper sockets.
