it depends on the rings.............i have 3 pair for different rings.

Naw, really it depends on what transmission I am working on, and what snap ring I am fighting.

I'm trying to take apart a '62 Buick 3-speed manual trans. I think 2 of the snap rings were broken and re-used by the last guy who was in this thing. My Toptul snap ring pliers won't work on the last broken ring because the gap is just a bit
too wide. I'm wondering if you guys know of a "trick" tool that will help me out. Thanx, John.
