Finally got my Snap ON FDP metric wrenches!

Well I have had my 3/8"-1" set of flank drive plus wrenches for a few years now and have been puttin off getting th metric set to replace my old cman raised panels. I found this 10-19mm set on ebay for 154.95 shipped and I figured thats about as cheap as I'm going to get them. The guy wasnt kidding when he said they were mint, I can tell them from new.

Got them in the mail today, he even individually bubble wrapped them.

Got a quick question for those of you with FDP wrenches- are those wrenches your everyday go to wrenches, considering the teeth on the open end, or do you guys use others and then go to these for special applications?

I rarely touch mine....I grab my matte finish Proto Professionals first.

Is it because of the Flanking on the open side, or any other reason?

Aren't Metric usually on a black holder and standard on a red holder? :headscrat

jerk chicken, for me it's a "feel" thing...the Protos just feel better to me, and they're longer. I'm finding myself selling off most of my SO tools, all of my ratchets are already gone, replaced with other brands. I have some work to do today, maybe I'll try using the SO's and see what I think.
