In a large pile o tools, I found this device. Obviously a press of some sort, but looks too small and yucky for food. any hints?

Looks like some kind of a food press to me.
Isn't that a grape press? You plan on making some hooch in the garage? :D

it is for pressing the juice or fluid from fruit, vegetables or other food product. note the small spout on the front to place a bowl or other container under.

Yup, juicing press; haven't seen anything like that since the 1960's. Mom had one --

let it get old and spoiled, put it in a bottle for a bunch of years and then
