Hello all,
I am looking for some T-handle socket wrenches or drivers: 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm. The only thing I have found is something like these (http://www.motionpro.com/motorcycle/partno/08-0094/). Unsure of the quality, I thought I'd ask here if anyone could recommend the functional equivalent.
Thanks,
Jay

Craftsman has a line of T handled nut drivers.

Gearwrench also has sets of nut drivers shafts that can be inserted in their ratcheting drivers. The sets usually come with screwdriver type of handles but they also make a T handle ratcheting driver.

Prices vary a great deal, though.

I have the Craftsman. Pretty colors. :) Got them during Black Friday (half off).
Actually, they're fine. I thought I would use them more than I do, but I'm finding it rare that I have enough room for a T-handle - always something in the way.

How about something like this from Vim tools. You can attach whatver size you wish.

There are also these on Ebay:

I bought the TopTul set, the handles slide to one side so you can store them 'L' fashion.
They are pretty nice, Don't know what Mike gets for them at Wrenhandtools, but I found mine on e-bay.
They are good, strong and very decent price.

The Motion Pro t-handles are high quality, I use them and wouldn't hesitate recomending them. The Vim t-handle that Fedwrench suggested are also sold by SO as a BluePoint tool. I have those also and they work well. If I had to guess the MSR ones on e-bay are the same as the Motion Pro, for under 50 bucks shipped it's worth it to pick a set up and see if you like them. Personally the C-Man or Witte do not have enough heft on the t end, so you won't get any good momentum to spin things off.

These are awesome to work on the bike and quad with. Use your own sockets, it's honestly my favorite "ratchet" in my toolbox.

Wow, thanks for all the suggestions. It's great to have options. The couple of comments about having T-Handles but rarely using them gives me some pause as to whether these will really make life easier? I suspect it is one of those things you only learn by trying.
Thanks again,
Jay

Beta make them and they are top quality tools! Take a look around for them. I think the Amazon is selling Beta now.

T-handle nut drivers are usually use for repetitive short thread run applications that usually make using a ratchet a nuance. For some of my applications it offers the fast and easy way to get the right torque on the bolt/nut.
BTW for some odd reason 9mm is a rare and odd size

Must be, none of my sockets, wrenches and my t-handle have ever been used on a 9.
Do they make 9mm hex heads?

Yep they are usually nuts for me and on derailleurs so a T handle nut driver is just the right tool to get the clamping tension I need for the cable.

I haven't worked on a multi speed bike in 20 years, so that must be why I never used a 9. Cool to know there is a use for them.

Already made a decision ? Why not get a T-handle ratchet so you can attach different length extensions and whatever socket you like... mm or inches....
Matco has a good one. Part no.: 863Q

On the occassions that I've wanted one of these, I just used a sliding t-bar, extension and socket.

Hi Monte,
I have put my order together, but haven't placed it yet. Thanks for the suggestion on the ratcheting T. I hadn't seen those before.
