I saw it yesterday, or was it Saturday? Anyways, it looks like there are a few good deals, but nothing unexpected or out of the ordinary.

Thanks for sharing, The flare crowfoot set seems like a decent deal if you need them.

They finally post the flier, but there's nothing super-awesome in there this time... :(
The Pro line wrenches are in there for $25/set, always a good deal.

I see the DieHard Portable Wheeled Battery Charger/Engine Charger for 6v/12v at $139.
I've been looking for a used one on CL but this might fill the ticket.

like a couple others said this flier was a let down, this is one of the first fliers that I actually don't even want anything that is on sale! Maybe that is a good thing for a change.

I'd pick up one of those 1/2" Impact Wrenchs but my brand new compressor keeps tripping the breaker  It sucks renting :(

BigK600: Do you have anything else on that circuit?
I'm re-wiring my shop this summer, but I was having the same issue, until I was able to move the compressor to an unused circuit on the other side of my shop.
It's only a 110V compressor, but it sucks just about everything out of that one breaker.

I will probably get the external torx sockets just because they are half off ($20). Just an fyi also those tamper proof torx socket drivers are made by SK. You can tell that the chrome is shinier and by the dot on the socket. Those are half off also.

Looking at the external torx as well. Are there different dates for different items on sale?
Specking of the dots I bought the 4pc 3/8 wobble ext. during the sale then 1/2 off. $30 got them for $12.50. They have the dots and shiner chrome, are they SK as well?

I also bought that set and they do not look like the rest of my CMan pieces, I'd guess they are SK. Can anyone confirm?

Yes, the current wobble extensions, polished pro flare nut wrenches, flare nut crow foot wrenches, security torx bit sockets, long ball end hex bit sockets, and thumb wheel ratchets are all made by SK. There may by others as well.
I forgot the 9/16 sparkplug socket is also SK.

The set of all sockets is on sale. That doesn't seem to be one they advertise too often. I seem to remember that the sale price was about what the regular price was last year, however.

Yeah, I bought that SK-made wobble ext kit for my BIL. Paid $15, while I paid $70 for my 6-pc SK set a while back. Oh well.
Anything with a dot is SK, and for stuff a few years older there is another designation but I forgot. "W" maybe? The main giveaway is the better looking chrome.

Stupid question, anyone know if any of the other yard (hand) tools are on sale, other then the three in the picture? I need a manual edger for a project, and mine broke a few years ago, and I haven't found any at garage sales.
Thanks

Is there a picture to show this "dot"? Thanks.

The flare nut wrenches have a small "K" mark stamped on them. The old SK made polished Craftsman combination wrenches had the same mark. I believe the mark is right after the word "Professional" (if I remember correctly).

What specs for the manual edger? Hand held? If so, Harry Epstein has some Bahco on sale. I have a cheap that works okay, else I'd have gotten one. Got some Bahco rose pruners though :rocker:

Yes, I looked last night. It almost looks like an "X" but it is "K". I got the crowfoot flare nut wrenches finally delivered to Sears yesterday after I bought them last month half off (no way I'd pay $80 for those). They also have the K. I would think it would be a dot.
On a side note I had to exchange the set right away. There was a huge chip of chrome lost on the 18mm. Pretty disappointing, luckily they had another set to give me.

My scores:
6 pc. 1/2" metric deep-well socket set, $49.99, CClub $29.99
Reasonable deal. Needed to fill up the Hansen tray, and these are the most commonly used sizes.
5 pc. Chisel set, $34.99, CClub $19.99
Waited for these to come down for a while. Needed a decent set at a decent price. Disappointed to see 6 pc. set in new Sears catalog for $29.99---with tool pouch.
Total savings ~$35.
Not bad. As stated before, another Craftsman Club flyer with not a whole lot to get excited about.
Best of luck to others.

Getting ready to leave for work. Yesterday morning, I did an errand for my dad (still fighting some of the hospital aquired junk), came back and saw a CL post. My work schedule, means I almost never get to what I want (gone before I am off work). I called the guy in the afternoon, was going to give him my number, since I am off Tuesday, and he asked where I was. He brought me the compressor for $10 extra.
Now instead of the cheap Craftsman one I was looking at (club sale), I ended up with a Quincy for $225, that does close to what my big one does (want to move the big one to my brothers farm).
Still have to get one item while the club has it on sale though.

when you hover the mouse pointer over an item, isn't it supposed to zoom in?
When I click on the item, nothing happens. I thought it opens a new page with the Sears page for the item. I can't see some of the prices.

I have a 4 cycle TroyBilt and like it a lot. I have never owned a 2 cycle, but it is a lot more powerful then the electric weed whackers I have owned.
