Does anyone notice the action to be a bit more rigid?
I picked one up on Sunday and it feels stiff even after cleaning and greasing it .
How do they compare to other ratchets?

It was rebuilt I'm sure and the springs have to much tension, take it apart and clip 2 links off of the spring!!

I really do wish you would quit advocating that. One of the best things about Snap-on ratchets is the long plunger spring that puts pressure on the pawl to keep the ratchet from slipping.

Relax Merkava. I clipped the spring but its still much tighter than my f-70 Ferret.

Go polish your ratchet because this does not cause them to slip dude!!
