Think it falls in the well wishing category.

Is it just me or is this guy an idiot?
Local pickup only and I don't see where 'local' is...
Doesn't that sort of insure that no one will ever bid?

I watched all three videos, and I didn't see $27,000.00 worth even if it was all new.

That just might be the idea..................

His wife is probably on his ass to sell the tools 'cause he's laid off and he's just trying to shut her up.

If I had a set of tools like that, thay'd have to pry my cold dead corpse off the box before it sold on e-bay.

didnt watch it but that seems like a good idea to me
if you had a car for sale or even a home for sale it seems a video would be a good way to present it

as far as this auction goes. has anyone ever really bought a whole toolbox with tools for that kind of money?
I remember back in the 80s when I bought a few toolboxes with tools for $2000-$2500 and then sold some stuff off so I can have some of the other stuff for free but can you really justify doing that when you have to cough that much money up front?
have any of you seen an auction where somebody paid $20+k for a box and tools?

I just watched the whole thing (30 mins).

He is within +/- 3K on his asking price of what all of this could sell for individually on EBAY.

I don't believe this is a steal, but I also don't think he is out of his mind for his asking price.

The MAX that I would be willing to pay is $20k for what he has listed. I could make money off of that.

I could see how perhaps it is a fair deal based on what the expected used prices would be but who of us needs a full set of tools, who has that amount of money if they are starting out and needed all of them? and like you mention about what you are willing to pay, we all would expect a 'volume' discount if we are buying that much at once.

it more work to do a bunch of listings, but its easier to ket a small amout of money from a whole lot of people

I too watched 30 seconds before giving up. What I don't get is how this guy is trying to sell $27k in tools but cannot invest in a cheap video tripod.

Plus, if you're trying to sell $27k in tools, go through the trouble, and make a list, darn it!

My favorite saying on some of these ads is "too much to list"

B/S, if you want to sell it, then make the damn effort! :wtf:
