Can you convert an existing 936 flex to dual 80 with a new head ?

I don't think so. But you can try as it will be hassle to do that. I would just leave it as is.

just sell the 936 and buy the dual 80.... or trade it in to snap on guy.... usually give 50 to 60 percent for trades

Yes. I had an FHF936 that I wanted to make a FHF80 out of before Snap on came out with a FHF80. I swapped a head from a duplicate FLF80 ratchet. It was an easy swap. I don't know if you can get just the FLF80 head from Snap on parts though.
