Hey guys. This is a great forum.

Most of you may know my posts over at Autopia on my garage project. I finally got a chance to clear it out over the holidays, so it's ready for the goods. A little info on the garage: It's a deep single car with an offset area to the right and a storage closet in the back. It has bare concrete, but it's stained to hell. There isn't any insulation or drywall anyware. So I have a clean slate.

My plans: I want to do the Armstrong VCT tiles, probably with a black border and medium gray center. I'm also looking at what www.precisionepoxy.com has to offer, and they're based around where I am. Right now I have 2 flourescent fixtures, and I plan on making that number at least 12. Don't know about insulation or drywall yet.

I've drawn up a plan on what I think an ideal layout would be when it's all done. There are some pics of the garage itself as it sits too.

What do you think? I'm open to all suggestions or changes to my plans.

Here are pics of the garage. (http://autopia.org/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=469497#post469497)

Porkanbeans,

Looks like a single car that is extra deep. No room for 2 car?

Looks good! I like that you have an offset area, are you going to enclose it? looks like a good place to hide things and keep the garage "clean" looking.

The Armstrong VCT are exactly what I used. I love 'em.

Thanks guys. Mike, your floor is awesome. Those are the exact colors I want to lay down. As for the offset area, I don't plan on closing that in. It would be really nice though since that's basically the storage part of the garage. It all depends on the moolah I can put toward it.
