My 3/8" SO ratchet is an F830. I can't find that model online--what gives? Is it an older model? How old?

That's 2 model generations ago IIRC, the current equivalent would be the F80.

Current is the F80, previous was the F936, and before that was the F830. You can get rebuild kits from Snap-on, and find used, or NOS, ones on eBay.

They're good ratchets. I have a brand new, unused one in my toolbox.
