And by sets, I mean for different purposes. For example, I have the set of good tools for my shop tool box, then I have a set for the trunk of the car, and one for the house, and one for junkyarding.

I've taken the snappies to pickapart many times but always made me nervous I was gonna leave something by accident and lose one!

So how many different sets do you guys have? And which get what tool quality?

My shop set are the good ones, the rest are just low end craftsman. The newish stuff goes in the car, and the older stuff goes in the house/junkyard set which gets the lowest of the low, naturally.

Actually that gives me something to do this weekend, get everything organized!!! :pimpflash

Four. The first string stuff's downstairs in the chests. The seconds & thirds, also mostly American are in the garage and the truck. Don't want to step down too far. Get stranded by the side of the road I want tools I can rely on. The basics are under the kitchen sink. Pliers, screwdrivers, hammer, tape measure, adjustable wrench and utility knife.

3- Shop (good stuff, SO, MAC, Matco, SK), Road call bag, and Home (Cman and HF mostly, currently spread out on the floor of my garage since I traded my Waterloo cheapy box for a vintage SO Im starting to restore)

Ive also got a few tools that go in between, like my cordless impacts, and a few auto specialty things that come in handy at the shop at times.

One set. I'll use a Snap On screwdriver for mixing Bondo or a China Freight for working on a $10,000 engine... doesn't bother me.

Only thing I have in the house is a multiblade screwdriver.

I don't keep tools in the vehicles other than in the Jeep and I pull from my toolbox then.

Geeze I have the shop set, the home (garage) set, car set (2 cars) and the junk yard set. Obviously the shop set is the most complete, and the in car sets are not much more than garage sale hand carry boxes with a scant selection of tools. The junk yard set is a bit better with all my old C man tools from when I was younger and did not have enough money for snap on tools at work. I guess I have 4 sets.

I have three sets as well.

One in my garage, another on the trailer, and lastly one in the car.

The first two consist of the more expensive/higher quality tools while the road kit consist of more lower end tools.
