Hello All!
Recently I purchased a Snap-On Far72A 3/8" drive air ratchet on the cheap!
The gent I purchased it from wasn't sure if it worked (which generally speaking means it does not work).
By the by when I tested it in my shop it did not work!
Mostly it just leaks air when the rubber cushioned button is depressed.
I should like to render it in working order once again. Does anyone know
of websites devoted to the village idiot, detailing where to purchase a rebuild kit and how to take it apart and put it back together correctly?
Thanks much all.
Lou

if you talk to your local dealer, he should be able to give you a price on a flat rate rebuild with a 2-4 week turn around time.

The flat rate rebuild is the way to go if you like that ratchet. I just got a FAR72B rebuilt for $110 from Snap on at work. The only thing they didn't replace was the shell. The head, trigger and internals are all new. Given the price of a new FAR series ratchet, $110 is pretty reasonable.
