been a while since I have been to a pawn shop and the last times I have gone there was nothing but overpriced junk
I had the day off today and spent some time running errands and thought I would drop by a couple of pawn shops in the process.
what I found and paid $10 for. cant say I really needed any of them but that has never stopped me from buying before

Looks like Craftsman 1/4 in. Drive Full Polish Quick Release Teardrop Ratchet, right?

Those are one of the few Craftsman ratchets; that I like the shape of, now if they would have the thin profile head in that shape of full polish body.... it would be nice ratchet!

all of the items are cman
the 1/4 dr ratchet is the full polish version and yes I like those very much. the 1/2 drive looks like new and the 3/8s drive has the metal direction lever that I know some people prefer.
when you are a toolaholic, todays deal is just a little temporary relief from my afliction

Doesn't that 1/2" drive ratchet alone retail for around $20?

Seeing tools like that go for $10 breaks my heart. Why can't I find deals like that here?

Good deal, that impact driver can be very useful on "stuck" screws.

Sears has the impact bits for a couple of bucks apiece; the Craftsman is oem made Lisle, I have had to replace the bits a number of times.... however!

I have a Talco (taiwanese) impact I bout about 30 years ago in the UK for 5 quid. The end is all mushroomed over & never fails to work :) Haven't knackered any bits either.

I have not had as much luck finding deals at pawn shops as some of the members here so I guess its just my turn
I now have 3 of the 1/4 dr ratchets. I like the new thin profile ones better but these follow closly behind them. the 3/8 and 1/2 ratchets I really didnt need as I have several of them, but what the heck.
the extension went right into my extension drawer as you can almost never have too many of them, plus this is one of the older style ones that I really like
the impact driver, I already have one of the same ones and I have a bunch of spare bits that I got really cheap at sears (like about a buck each) when they had them on clearance so I should be set for a while.
for now most of the stuff is in my spares box waiting to be used or traded
the same pawn shop had a bunch of snap on wrenches, but all were in bad shape and most hand engravings so I had to pass on them

I've had good luck with the ones around here. Found a Craftsman 1/4" drive thin (newer)style ratchet-$1, Craftsman extensions- $2, IR2115 3/8" impact- $19.99!! (works better than my brand new one), Bunch of S K ratchets & sockets in the metal case-$10, Vaccume guage- $5, screwdrivers and misc.- $10... Some days no stop deals. Wait a few weeks and find some more deals. Hit or miss:thumbup:
