i picked up a wrench at a yard sale today thats been puzzlin me
it says forged in USA and is alloy steel
but on one end it says D.WIZARD
who made wizard tools if there is such a thing?
i also picked up two other wrenches that were usa made but no name
and a pair of linesman pliers from crescent tool co jamestown,ny
From what I understand, they were sold by Western Auto. Made by Indestro, maybe? I have a 1/2 drive ratchet, and it is quite a nice tool.

They also sold some pretty awesome vice grips under the wizzard name. I don't know who made them but if I ever come across more of them they are on the list to buy all of them I can.

I worked at western auto for two years when I was in high school, the first tools I bought were the wizard brand. Still have a few of them and still using them, though they are not the top shelf type tool they are still well made.

Vlchek manufactured combinations for Western Auto marketed as Wizard. Westerns sockets were indeed Indestro. Does it look like this??
