I'm building a car right now and am getting close to doing some brake lines and fuel lines. I plan to use stainless steel brake lines and fuel lines with AN fittings for both brake and fuel lines.

Can anyone recomend a good tube bender capable of bending at least 3/16" thru 3/8" tubing and also a 37 dregee flaring tool. I won't be using these tools a lot but would like to buy reasonable quality without completely breaking the bank. This is not for my daily work but more hobby related. Thanks in advance!

i did my entire truck with the red hand held bender that o riely's (or autzone or advanced) sells. very happy with it.

flaring tools should NOT be purchased at the local autoparts store. i got lucky with my rent-a-tool set. so i kept it. but 75% of what i'vs seen on the shelves wouldn't make a usable flair ever.

I like Imperial-Eastman benders, and Ridgid as well.

Its kinda hard to find 37 degree flaring tools. My portable ones are ridgid, but on stainless I have a bench mounted hyd unit that was Mil Surplus that I use.

Good luck on finding the 37 degree stuff.
