I just cant stay out of the Local Pawn Shop and Antique stores lately, Everytime i walk in i walk out with something shiny. Here are today finds.. I need to ge back to work. 1 Snap 3/8 Stubby F710bk, Awesome Chrome and not much use, 1 1/2 drive Napa Ns41 with a funny stamping, Any idea who made this ratchet? Solid shape. 1 Blackhawk 3/8 ratchet, Good Chrome, And a older Proto Tools Socket holder Box no 5293 with a sticker that says " Set No. 5200M" didnt really need it so if some one is interested in it shoot me a offer and we'll see. Its in really good shape. Oh for the prices, I gave 15 bucks for the snap on stubby, 8 for the Napa, 5 for the blackhawk and they threw the proto box in free

:+1:
I recently saw a NOS KD ratchet that looked exactly like the Napa.

There is nothing cooler, IMO, than the classic PROTO logo.

...except possibly the PLOMB logo from which it evolved!

That NAPA ratchet is pure Danaher. Same folks who make Craftsman, KD, Matco and several others. Elroy made this post previously that high lighted a few issues with his procurement of a KD ratchet to fill in his set. Please note it is basically identical to your NAPA ratchet
Well the 3/8" K-D delivered Friday to fill out the set. Looking back on it, Elroy should have delayed making this purchase for two reasons. First off was the price. The only real local source to K-D for Elroy was Fastenal. These jerk off butt dicks would not move on their price of $33.52. By the time tax and shipping was paid it cost Elroy $41.45 to fill in the set.
The other thing that disappoints Elroy is the fact this ratchet is in fact a real POS. It's only 36 tooth, the knurl on the handle is poorly applied, the shift action is rough and it cost too dam much. Paid $6 for the 1/4", then $14 for the 1/2" and almost $42 for that POS 3/8 making a grand total of $62 for (3) sub par ratchets.

The only real saving grace is that all the shift levers are metal. Then again the 1/2" is NOT quick release so really the set is not matched. But to be fair, Elroy has always liked the 1/4". It feels good in the hand and for its size works well.
