WOW, there are some damn nice tools in there. They sure don't stock the nice stuff at my neighborhood Sears. Made in USA ratcheting wrenches look nice. So do the Cross force ratcheting wrenches. Made in the USA also. The new line of professional tool boxes looks really nice, with a price to match. I wonder who makes them.

I equate the Craftsman tool catalog to what the Sears "wish book" was when my generation was growing up. Those of you who are 50+ remember looking through the christmas catalog and telling your parents what you wanted! Naturally, today we can look through the tool version of the "wish book" and tell spouses, friends etc.. what we want and hope that someone comes through on any special occassion.

I got the Sears "man" catalog in the mail yesterday.
A lot of tempting items in there.
I promptly pitched it in the burn can.

Have to watch the expenses being unemployed now for 5 months.

I hear you on the unemployment ... I sat for 5 months. (union plumber) Got put on with a new shop and was told it was only for 4 weeks. At least it was work. BUT..... Their choice of power tools was Ryobi..??? Tight wads for sure. That was a friggin joke! Got laid off 2 weeks ago. I start tomorrow for an in house plumbing job at O' Hare international airport..

I've got 2 or 3 of them, snagged one for each bathroom and one for the bedroom, I wish sears stocked EVERYTHING in the catalog, man, it'd make life so much easier.
