Starrett and Greenfield don't seem to make a T-handle tap wrench for a tap as large as 5/8" -- only up to 1/2, and then you've got to choose the straight tap wrench.
Anyone know if Starrett used to make a t-handle for 5/8"?
Any co. making t-handles this size?
Thanks:thumbup:

I use a 8 point 1/2 drive 5/8 inch socket.

Greenfield used to for sure. I have one that will go up to 1". Kind of bulky though.

Thanks, will check it Greenfield. 5/8's to me always seemed a size where you'd want to use a smaller wrench rather than a large handle. But I guess it depends on the application. For me, I just want to clean out threads that are 2" to 2-1/2" deep, and the small wrench would work perfectly.

For cleaning out threads I use a 12 or 8 pt socket and speed handle. Much faster than a tap wrench.
