I've found them used but they are almost round the 12 points are stripped out.
Is this covered by warranty. I've bin afraid they won't cover them.
http://www.dskatools.com/ Sells Grey Pneumatic deep 12 point impact 2110MD,2112MD,2114MD for under $5.00 each almost the same length. I checked the 2112MD fit on a Ford Drive line 12 point bolt and it was snug.
Since I've had problems with Mac 12 point impacts holding up I bought all 3 Grey Pneumatic to see how they hold up.
They have a 12mm 12 point deep 3/8 drive 1112MD I think will work on Ford Drive lines.

The worn down 12 points are most definitely covered under warranty; that's a cut and dry issue. If they can't warranty that, they might as well not have a warranty.

Since I've had problems with Mac 12 point impacts holding up

12 points seem to wear faster than 6 points. At least that's my experience with 12 point impact sockets anyway. Even in chrome, they still have a tendency to wear quicker. 12 points are more likely to "swell" than a 6 point due to there being less steel.

My 12 point Cornwell metric and my 12 point Snap-on SAE impact sockets have held up well. Let us know how the Gray's hold up.

Once again, Merk is correct.

I purchased a 3/8 drive deep 9/16 socket that was cracked got on a Mac truck and was asked to get off even though I had around $40.00 I was planning to spend.
I used to buy Mac all the time and purchased a fuel injection pressure test kit. Every time I used it the gage filled with gas I got a new one and it leaked. It appeared all the gages were bad. I had to use my Snap On gage and a couple from a hardware.
Mac are always cheaper at a flea market so I still buy some.

Mac stuff is cheap crap in comparison to snap on 85% of the time.....I'm not sure why the mac dealer told you to get off the truck, but I'd just mail it in and never go back.
