View Full Version : First time owner... long time wisher here..

Well after years of longing for a garage/shop of my own... i finally purchased a home with an attached 2 car garage... it's on the small side.. but it beats working on the heep out in the driveway in the rain..
Anyway.. i just returned home from iraq a few months ago, we bought it while i was home on leave, and since i spend most of my time getting the jeep ready... i have little time for the shop itself... but i plan on doing some major overhauling of it when the jeep is done.. and i look forward to sharing some ideas and stealing some from all of you..
keep up the nice spaces...

wow, funny running into you here.........(well i guess it's not that suprising)

glad to hear your back from another tour in Iraq. My 2 year job in Italy will be over this August, & i'm ready to knock the dust off my Junk now.

Congrats on the 2-car garage....
Hmm, "but i plan on doing some major overhauling of it when the jeep is done" come on now, who you kidding.......jeep and done can't be used in the same sentance.

i'll tell you, my garage has become a "project" of it's own......and takes just as much money and time as any of my vehicles........

ya... i know.. i'll never be done... i'll just change my mind about something.. and then its down for another year or so.. hehehe...

ya.. i just need to build a shed.. for storage.. then re-organize it.. and i want to run some additional wiring in it for more 220 outlets...

Well an update... I have executed orders.. so I had to sell that place in north carolina and I am now living in california.. I, of courese, upgraded the garage, I now have a 3 car attached... love the extra room.. but what is up with californian's? I had one outlet and one lightbulb in a 3 car garage?!?!?!?!
I have added some additional circuits to get the outlets and lighting I need.. still doing some unpacking..
