Does anyone have an opnion on the silver eagle series 1/4 socket sets? I have found a set on ebay and was wondering if they are a good product?

My brother bought a 3/8" impact socket set; we use them all the time, they work fine and according to our dealer... have a lifetime warranty (just like the traditional Matco USA hardline). These were more affordable then a USA made equivalent. These are asian imports, however; I have a sneaking suspicion, they maybe sunex or one of the many importers out there. I'm sure someone here can confirm who the OEM is; all I can tell you is about these impacts... they are working fine with what seems to be little or no wear at this point... good luck!

I've got this same set, and have used it daily for the past year without a problem.

Sockets are usually really durable, even the cheap stuff. I can't afford a drawer full of premium sockets like SO, Matco, or whatever so I bought all Genius impact sockets and I have absolutely no problems. Genius also carries a lifetime warranty.
So I'm sure the Silver Eagle sockets will be great.
