CH Finish Nailer First Impressions via ToolGuyd (http://toolguyd.com/2009/09/campbell-hausfeld-finish-nailer-first-impressions/)
I'm still working on evaluating the aforementioned CH finish nailer. Aside from the normal things - its design, power, comfort, and ease of use, is there anything else that you guys think I should cover?

Nice looking, looks like it has a swivel air inlet fitting like my Max nailer's?
Whats the wire thing hanging off the nail shoe? Oil lubed I presume. All I can think of.

That is a swivel fitting, and it is nice, but is a little bit stiff.
The wire is connected to the built-in stud finder. No oiling is required, but if you want to oil it, you can.
=)
My draft of the nailer review is at 1550 words. I *think* I covered everything. I only need to edit the draft and retake a few photos.

How many nails have you put through it? Personally all I really care about it is that you fired thousands of nails through and it worked flawlessly, let it set in subzero temperatures for a couple months and it worked fine, and that I can buy nails basically anywhere.
I guess there is also the how accurate is it whilst shooting at birds?

how easy and accurate is the depth setting?
any misfires or jams? try rapid shooting.
does it shoot clean or are there indentions on the wood?
how is it at getting into tight spaces?
can you bump and nail? for rapid nailing.

Unfortunately, that's a bit more than what I'm capable of. I can't fire off thousands of nails and put the tool through gruelling environmental conditions. Also, remember that this is not a pro-level tool. I imagine that the manufacturer should have run such extreme usage simulations.

It was relatively accurate. I usually fire off a few nails into a test board until I'm happy with the depth setting.
I didn't have any misfires or jams. I tested the tool on single shot most of the time, but saw similar performance in the rapid bump firing mode.
