While C-Man is not my first choice I figured I would join the club and fill in some holes in my collection. Well I joined on Aug. 3 and I haven’t received any membership card, membership number, or any other info other than my original welcome letter. Is this normal for C-Man Club members? :headscrat

I would call the Craftsman Club people up and tell them what "isn't" going on; I used to have customers that complained that it took forever for the club card to show up...

I have been a member of that club for around 10 years. Back 7-8 years ago they would do 10% off everything on a certain weekend and it was worth it, but I can't think of anything I have bought in the past 5-6 years that would have saved me money using the club membership.

It does take a little while for all the stuff to come in. There are occasionally some good deals that come in by e-mail, but I haven't bought anything since I joined.

Yeah I'll 2nd that. It does take upwards of three or more months.
I've found that with my local Sears store it really makes no difference if you are a club member or not. When I get C-man club sales flyers I go the the nearest Sears and what's on sale marked down for club members is the same price available to everyone else.
I had posted about that not long ago and aked if C-man club was really worth it. By the replies I got it seems that most who responded didn't fully understand what I was getting at. If the same deals are available to everyone, then why bother signing up??

Now that I think of it, I think that they sent me something about a rewards program a week or two ago. Didn't look into it, but assume that would actually be a benefit of being in the club.

In my experience there is a difference on the Craftsman Club Sale prices; the CC prices are not marked on the floor and you wouldn't know what they were unless you have the flyer. To get the CC prices they will ask for your CC card or your phone # to look it up at the register; we used to use ours sometimes but they put a end to that with threats of firing if you did.

3 years eh? Being it's Sears were talking about, I'm not shocked.

This doesn't seem to be the case at my two local Sears when I get a flyer in the mail and go to the store to shop. The same marked sales prices are listed on the shelves for everyone. In fact is really matters little to me anymore. I've slowly stopped spending my money at Sears anyway.

I will try calling the #billymade lists. It still seems weird to me that I haven't been getting blasted with e-mails every week. This is what their original e-mail said.
So that you can start enjoying your membership sooner, you’ll receive an email within the next 7 days with your Craftsman Club member number. You should receive your membership card at the mailing address you provided when you enrolled within 3 to 4 weeks.
