Unfortunetely, I see quite a few listings like this in western New York. Apparently, there is a magical formula that states: the value of the tools for sale = the car/boat/bike payoff.

People are always trying all sorts of crap on CL, hoping to reel someone in that doesn't know better.
A couple months back, guy around here had a regular Craftsman toolbox setup and an older Matco utility cart for sale for $600, claimed it cost over $3000 new.
I emailed him and called him on it...no response. :spit:
