I am looking for a tool that will allow me to clean the hub flange and the back of a brake rotor hat.

What do you folks use and would recommend?

Thanks!

Hmm, I'd prefer a hand tool if possible, but if the die grinder is the only option, I can live with that.

I've never seen a hand based product. The 3m tool works great in a cordless drill. Time is money so, I don't really see anyone using a scotchbrite pad to remove rust build up by hand but, that's just me.

naval jelly and rubber gloves will strip the rust off anything....... just wear a mask, eye protection and the worlds best rubber gloves.
