So after I posted on ToolGuyd about Snap-on's "cordless" work light that requires a user-supplied cord, I sent Snap-on an email.
I quoted their response in today's ToolGuyd post (http://toolguyd.com/2009/11/cordless-snap-on-work-light-update/) on the matter.
Basically, the customer service rep asserted that it's "cordless" because it doesn't come with a cord.
Oxford English Dictionary: Cordless: Of an electric device or appliance: working without a flex or cord; battery-powered.
In other news, I'm selling a wireless computer. You just need to supply your own power cords, wi-fi card or network cable, and a video cable.
