Since they have been changing their ratchets, does anyone know if the ratcheting adapters are also changing? (working on as small as possible vehicle kit, and debating between them, and a few Gearwrenches with adapters).

Thanks

Not sure... I will ask the powers to be. like the s77 1/2 ratcheting adapter?
I bet they keep them the same. they just updated a while back...

Do you really use these things? I do understand the use of the ratcheting adapter, but I've never really seen the need for these things...too bulky for my taste. I would imagine your kit would still have to include ratchets to be usefull...so why would a "small as possible" kit include the ratcheting adapters anyway? I would think you'd focus on your most used tools.

If you have a non ratcheting torque wrench and you work on helicopters then you really really need one. I sell a lot every year. also on breaker bars. the 1/2 inch is the most popular.

No, the point of them would be to just have breaker bars in the kit. These convert them to ratchets (strictly emergency repair kit).
