Here is my ratchets at work. Trying to figure out what to buy next.
Mostly Snap-on, one matco, one silver eagle, and a no name 3/8 stubby.

How about a swivel head 1/2" ratchet; 24" or 17"? Great for suspension work! Also, what about a 1/2" straight long ratchet..... ahhh, there are so many possiblities!

I find myself reaching for my bent handle flex head more now than a straight ratchet. I have a matco one but I do want to get my hands on some dual 80's here pretty soon

You need some small head ratchets for tight places. Stanley Proto makes some very nice ones. You will grab them all the time over those big bulky ones when you get used to them.

are you talking about the "precision series" ?

Yes, those would fit the bill and seem to be a missing part of his set. I reach for them unless I am needing some heavy duty torque. I find the bigger pear heads tend to get in the way about 1/2 the time I use them.

Oh ok, I was considering buying a set of those, but was trying to justify the gf's nagging about more ratchets hahahahah. i am more into industrial work then auto tech, so not sure i would get great use out of them, but they would look good beside the rest of them:),lol

This the set? Found them for $40 for the set online. I don't have a tool guy that sells any stanley-proto, so where would I return in case I break one? They do look nice.
