Are they related to Homey Distributing Company? Just kidding, I've never heard of them.

They are one of the traveling tool sale companies in out area. Pretty sure their home office is in Evansville, IN or somewhere nearby. Same junk as Cummins, etc. I would say most of it is slightly less quality than Harbor Freight.

What he said. Everything I've ever gotten from Homier has been complete and utter s***.

Yes, Harbor Freight is upscale in quality from Homier stuff. Great place to buy a plastic tarp or a wire brush.

I agree with all of the above. You would get more enjoyment watching your money go up in smoke than using anything that they sell.

I had the misfortune of going in one of their freestanding stores. I had to pick up an item for someone while traveling.

Some folks just want to buy as cheap as possible. me and a buddy went to one of their traveling shows at our NG armory. My buddy and I each bought a tarp and left. Other folks were buying cart loads of stuff.

How people can think they're going to pay $10 for a set of wrenches, 3/16 to 1 1/2 with 18 wrenches in the set and have them last is beyond me.

You get what you pay for; if you depend on your tools, you'll learn that it pays to buy quality products ...

When you show up in a town once a year, and your "customers" are mostly new tool users, or looking for a cheap one time use tool, people tend to forget. In the time I have known about them, I know of only two good experiences with them. One is for something no one knows how they got (only had one in the show, and think it must have belonged to one of the people working the show, Delta Jointer), the other, was my b-i-l. He picked up a $5 angle grinder for some nails on a fence post (daughters kept getting stuck by), and used it on all kinds of things (lasted three years).

I went to a Homier sale about 2 months ago. It was worthless. Some things were priced higher than Harbor Freight if you can believe it. Plus the checkout line was wrapped around the make shift store.

I have heard decent comments about their 4x6 bandsaw though. Each sale has one or two and are quickly sold.

I like to call Homier "Chuck's travelling tool circus". What amazes me about their products is how creative the designers must be to cut every corner the way they do. These are some imaginative people. They take crappy to a whole new level. As others have said, their stuff makes Cummins and Harbor Freight look real nice.
On the plus side, they do offer parts for their stuff, and they do honor their warranty.
But I'd rather have a good product than a good warranty.

I'm waiting for them to come back around my area so I can pick up one of their 12 (?) ton presses for 50 bucks. Looks like the same one HF sells except painted a different color. Unless they do the same thing HF does, which is have differing prices/available product online compared to their retail stores. Though I do agree about the quality or lack thereof.

We get Homier up here (Montana) every year too, and I avoid them like the plague. Even the bungee cords are junk, baling twine is better. The "travelling tool circus" comment reminded me of when I was a kid growing up on the ranch, about every summer some guy would travel through the country with about three heavy tools in the box of his pick up. "just need to sell to make a little money". Usually had an industrial air compressor, a metal cutting band saw and I think a press or some other fairly large piece of shop equipment. I think they were reasonable quality, I believe the AC was a Campbell Hausfeld. We never bought anything, figured it might have been stolen, but the next summer same story just different guy and slighltly different tools. Anyone have anything like this in their part of the country.

90% of their stuff is junk, but I've got their engine hoist and it's fine. I also ordered several of their 5 roller adjustable height stands, they're really handy for long pieces of steel in the chop saw and at $20 per they were cheaper than anyone else by a lot.
