That's the link to the wrenches themselves, and they're a stubby set, now 29.99 down from 59.99. All the ratcheting wrenches are on sale, looks to be about 10 bucks off, but this looks to be the most dramatic discount, at least that I can find.

Here's a review :
http://www.webbikeworld.com/r2/gearwrench/gearwrench-flex-head.htm

The review is positive, they're made in Taiwan, and:

All GearWrench products carry a lifetime warranty and are claimed to "meet or exceed ANSI, DIN and U.S. Federal torque specifications for standard professional combination wrenches".

I'm not sold on the stubby kind , but since I have some store credit at sears I may go ahead and get 'em.

I am now! I picked up both sets ( I figured that you can't hurt a stubby wrench unless you hit it with a hammer or use a pipe for a handle :-) So I took a chance on them... They are not bad stuff. I felt that I paied for the standard set the other day, I had a job I HATE (remove the fan) I used a normal length wrench to break the bolts loose and the little stubby really shined with the ratchet feature, it all most made it into a job I didn't hate:-) No bloody hands and had the fan off in under 2 min!

The only thing I don't like about the GearWrenches is that the handle is too thin. If you crank down on something, the handle hurts my hand. Not sure if the stubbies are the same or not.

The wrenches are definitely worth it, though, despite occassional pain.

Score! Thanks for the tip... just picked up the SAEs and the last set of Metrics that the local Sears had in stock. $3.75 per wrench... that's a tough deal to beat. :bounce:

Yeah I agree thin but if you use a normal combo wrench to break it loose and then use the stubby to work it free it isn't too bad as stated above. For $30 I would get em if you don't have a set. I got mine last year and I think I paid about that.

The stubbys are definatily worth having, the only ones that I have not found much use for are the flex heads.
