My repair shop building is appx 60+ years old. The square foot is 14000 . the frame is steel truss and has gypsum panels for the roofing covered in rubber membrane. it looks like the panels are held in by a angle on the support beams.
The roof is not flat it has a preety good pitch to it.my question is has any body ever replaced the gypsum panels? the panels are appx 4-5 inches thick and 3x3
The panels are junk in many places full of holes from water damaged falling paint etc. I understand it will be costly is there any thing else that can be used?? also has any body ever used the large rubber roofing that unfolds in massive square feet, this lay down rubber roofing is garbage, too many seams.the new england weather kicks the crap out of it.
someone told me to ace the panels and get something larger so i would not have to use as many panels?
Thanks

14K sqft?? Yikes, that's big.

Never seen the panels nor the roofing that you speak of. Someone may have, though. Hang tight..
