Well, first off lemme say that i am or WAS a huge craftsman fan. Ive always been a big fan of their handtools until recently with this weedwacker and their set of ratcheting wrenches that were so thin that they hurt your hand when you really torque down on them. Anyway, i digress...

I recently bought a 4 cycle 29cc line trimmer with the quick change attachments.

Pros:
Good torque
Additional attachments are neat to have esp the blower
4 cycle - no need to mix gas

Cons:
Heavy, was expected 'cus the 4 cycle but it should at least come with a harness of some sort
The hassle free head sucks big time. I would still prefer the bump feed head. It sucks when doing alot of edging to have to stop to replace lines all the time. Not to mention because of the design you waste alot of line. When the line gets shortened you have to replace the whole line.

Man i wish there were more reviews before i went out and got this thing.
I dont think i would ever buy a trimmer w/o a bump feed now.

I have the older 34cc version (Briggs & Stratton engine) with the convertible straight shaft and the hassle free head. I LOVE it. We sell these where I work (no, not Sears), and they are very popular. People come back and tell me how much they like their 4 cycle. I don't know who makes the 29cc engines on the black Incredipull units, but I am happy with my Briggs 34cc. They now offer a 40cc also.
The 4 cycle is very quiet and clean-burning when compared to my old 2 cycle. It makes some truly beautiful music at idle.
Some customers don't like the Hassle Free head, but they are usually guys who are cutting grass for money and use it all day long. Most of the customers really like the Hassle Free head, though. For regular homeowner use, I will never go back to a spool type head again.
