I worked in a Ferrari dealership for a year. By and large, the morons that buy those things have ZERO ability to drive. One case: The owner of a 355 was showing off for his buddy making accelleration runs in an industrial park that he owns in south Seattle. He lined up between two buildings, ran the engine up to the red line and dumped the clutch. The car promptly spun 180 degrees to the right and slammed broadside into the building. $82,000 in body work. Another customer that owns 5 Ferraris was cruising on I-90 in his F50 at 150+ mph. He misjudged traffic and was unable to slow down in time. He rear ended a car at about a 40 mph speed differential and tore up the front end of his car really bad. The hood of that car goes for almost $50,000 all by itself. I left before I saw the final bill.
