This has to be the coolest thing I have seen for drilling and tapping.

I bought a set of these for about $30. I had a job drilling and tapping some 1/4 steel for a tool rack project. I was able to drill and tap 3 holes in this steel in about 3 minutes. The bolts went in perfectly and the really cool thing is that I did all the holes with no messy oil! If you drill and tap alot then these are a must have.

The Greenlee Dtaps are a great tool and a real timesaver when you use them as they are meant to be used. They were designed for and marketed for use by electricians for drilling and tapping the mounting holes for various components in electrical cabinets where the material thickness was less than 10 guage (approxiamately 1/8"). Even when in use on 10 ga. or thinner sheetmetal, proper lubrication is necessary for quality threads and long tool life,as is proper alignment of the tool to the workpiece.
