This is interesting. According to Black Friday, Ace will have Snap-On flashlights for $9.99 as early bird items during their after-Thanksgiving sale.

I've never heard of Snap-On stuff being sold from anywhere but the truck or snapon.com.

This whole New World Order thing is driving me crazy. :wtf:

That is weird...

That said that flashlight ain't in the Snappy catalog, and I most certainl wouldn't pay more than $10 for it...

It's got to be a cheap import...

...and with that realization, my heart just got a little heavier...

I think he means, because the last USA-only tool company is putting their name on a cheapy flashlight?

(Yes, some Blue-Point tools are foreign, but for the most part the Snappy logo means USA made).

Advertising stuff that is name marketing, is typically imported, and violates Snaps normal rule of Blue Point=import.
Those mini screwdrivers they hand out with the dealers name.
These flashlights
Those keychains

Nothing really new here.

You are witnessing what American auto companies have had to do for some time now, outsource items to non-US based manufacturers to be able to compete and hold market share. Soon guys will be writing in that their Harbor Freight wrenches are more American than that those Snapon's because they were packaged here by American workers.

Well, maybe....if it was a mini-flashlight keychain or something marketed as a collectible....but this looks like it is being sold as a genuine Snap-On Tool, i.e., not a knicknack or a giveaway.

Maybe it's just a loss leader, like those $398 laptops at Mao Mart that cost them $530.
