Welcome Robert!

Your garage looks like a showroom (what kind of tiles did you use?)

I bow to your choice of German racing silver hardware

Thank guys! I used commercial grade vinyl tile for the flooring. Looks great and cost effective.

That's not a GT3 by the way - it's a '03 4S with a full Techart Type II body kit and suspension. :D

Very nice. I like the tiles being diagonal instead of straight across. Gives it a different look.

The flooring is made by Armstrong, I bought it at a local wholesale place called ProSource. I want to say that it cost about $2500. Here's another two pics of the garage.

Can you use a jack on that floor? does it leave imprints? I guess you could put down some ply wood or somthing to protect it.

Jacks are no problem at all. The floor is incredibly resiliant.

Where'd you get those blown-up Porsche ads?

Redlinerobert

I found all the ads on Ebay. I had them all framed which cost like 5x what I paid for the ads - they look GREAT though.

They do indeed. I went through all of my mags and removed the "cool" ads. Gonna put them on black matte paper or whatever, and fill up a wall. And maybe, when I get a bigger garage (read: when my girlfriend and I buy a house), I'll put 'em out there.

The Porsche ads are my favorites. I saw some on eBay, the entire set of them for pretty cheap. I wanted to bid, but I was smart enough to wait. I think I have them all, just not big ones like yours. Nice Porsche, nice garage and nice ads.

Incredible! That garage is almost too nice to work in! I love it.
A couple of those Wayne Dalton I-Drive door openers would make it absolutely perfect.

so cool! great ideas. robert...did you build down that "beam" infront of the garage door lift?

i assume the door just goes up to that point, correct?

Great looking garage but just how do those grarage doors work???????

Redlinerobert
03-11-2005, 02:26 AM
Thanks for the compliments guys. Yes that is a 37" plasma in the garage :D

The garage doors work just fine. That's the way it was set up when I bought the house. The doors open past the beam, and yes they do open completely with out any problems.

Wow ... this is the first checkered floor I have seen rotated 45 degrees - nice!

I just ordered Racedeck 12" x 12" tiles in Alloy, Red, Black and White. I should have the tiles in about 7 - 10 days.

Again, nice look!

Your garage is gorgeous!!!

I'm still trying to figure out how those garage doors go up though... I guess the perspective of the picture makes it look impossible.

That is a beautiful Porsche!

Excellent looking Garage! Nice Panasonic as well. I just got a 42" commercial model about a month ago (unfortunately it's not in my garage :bounce: )
