Sweet pony! Here's a link to my 93: http://www.cardomain.com/id/wythors and my wife's 96: http://www.cardomain.com/id/mysbhvn You ought to bring that thing out here to Seattle for the Mustang Round-Up on the third weekend of July. It's a 4-day event with a track day on Thursday, a Pony Trails on Friday, MCA judged show on Saturday and a 1400-1500 car people's choice show on Sunday. Probably 20% of the participants are down from BC.

Hey wythors, thanks. Your Mustang and your wifes' are mint. A white 5.0 liter LX vert is exactly what I want next to modify. Your engine mods are perfect for daily driving and the rear spoiler is a nice touch. Your wife's stang has a nice stance with the rims. I deal with Maximum Motorsports and sell their subframe connectors, and didn't realize they had 1 1/2" wheel spacers. Great idea with the spacers because with those body styles (94-98) rear spacing always looks a little too far in. I would love to attend the Mustang Round-Up in July, but the drive to Seattle would kill me. I'm in Ontario, Canada and I think that would take days. I've attended the Ford Motorsport Nationals twice at Maple Grove Raceway in Penn. Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords magazine did a photo shoot on it there several years back. BTW, nice toolbox, do you know if that box is made by SPG International in Quebec, Canada. Sears here in Canada just starting selling the same box in your colour, blue and also in orange, but without the Pony Car insignias.

Thanks for the nice words on the cars! I've put a lot of time and effort into both of them and it's nice when someone appreciates them. :beer"
As far as who actually made my tool box, I don't know. I can tell you that it appears to be the same company that makes Husky tool boxes for Home Depot. The hardware and construction style looks just like the Husky stuff.
Too far? Dude, it's the biggest annual Mustang show on the planet! Get that puppy on the Trans-Canada Highway and get out here, eh? It's a four day pony party! Seriously, it's a great time. A lot of people come from a loooong ways away to attend. Your car would show very well.

Hey SmokenFastt, thanks alot. The paint on the tribal flames is very similar to mystic chromaLusion, from DuPont. Mine is by R-M and it's called extreme rainbow, it has 7 different colours. My friend Fiore, did the paint and body. He also shaved the antenna and the gas cap door, instead of being square it's now round with a brushed aluminum bullet door. He also rolled the rear fender lip to accomodate the wider tires. The rollcage is also painted to match, as are some of the engine compartment components. The engine was out when the paint was applied. He then, wet sanded and polished it to perfection. The shaved handles haven't been a problem so far. I use heavy duty 35lb. pull solenoids. I have installed many sets of solenoids for shaved door handles for my customers. The Corvette and Viper doors are some of the heaviest and for those I use 100lb. pull solenoids. I also invented some backups in case of car battery failure or remote battery failure. Years ago, when I first starting installing these solenoids, the major problem was you couldn't open the shaved doors if either the battery in the car or remote died or if the remote was broken or lost. It was worse if it happened in the middle of nowhere late at night. Also, many times, when the door handles are shaved the inside rod to unlock the doors is removed, making a slim jim useless. I searched around the internet and install manuals for backup systems, but there wasn't any good solutions other than to hide a switch somewhere, but I thought that would be too easy for someone to figure out. I've come up with some different ideas, first is a hidden pust button switch, but it only works when the alarm is disarmed. When the alarm is armed the relay opens going to the switch and closes when disarmed. Then I install hidden spring loaded keyed switches that will pop open the doors if the remote battery is dead. Then lastly, hidden charging leads from Moroso with 4 gauge power wire and a resetable circuit breaker on the positive side. Also, the left and right door power wires go to different sources in case something happens to one of the 12 volt supplies, these power wires also have smaller resetable circuit breakers instead of a fuse in case something happens. There's also a few other things I do when installing these solenoids for trouble free operation, but I'd have to write a novel, which this almost is ( sorry about that). When it comes to wiring, I'm very picky, been doing it for a living for 18 years now on cars. If anyone has any wiring related problems or questions please feel free to ask. I also noticed on another thread you were asking about installing 6 fog lights. Please PM me with more details, like what type of vehicle so I can tell you the exact colour wire and location in the vehicle. Also do you have a fax number so I can fax over a wiring diagram. You will need 3, 30/40 amp relays. BTW, I do drive my Mustang on a daily basis in the spring and summer, it's a rolling business card for my shop, TFX Motorsports.
