These pics were out of the Phx newspaper. Article featured homes around Phx.

This guys has a display area in what should be the dining room. That's a Boss 429 in the first photo. The bookcase in the background swivels to give access to the 10 car garage. You can see the back of the bookcase in the top center of the second photo. Pretty sweet setup! How many of your wives would let your baby into the dining room?

Holy crapolee!!! Now THAT's my kind of guy!

I wonder how often he drives those cars...other than the Viper.
I'd wager a guess he's not really married.

The following is from an article from the local media who have done several stories:

The Alcazars called the style of the original home " '70s contemporary." During their extensive home search, they ended up nicknaming a lot of the houses they looked at. This one was the "Don Johnson House," Drew says, because it was stark white with teal trim and a pink tile roof. Early Miami Vice.

After they bought the house, but before renovations began, each neighbor they met had the same question for the couple.

"The first thing they'd say was, 'Are you going to paint it?' " Drew says. "They didn't even want to know who we were, but were we going to paint the house?"

They did more than paint. After more than a year of extensive remodeling, the home bears little resemblance to what stood before.

It has an Old World feel, with fewer right angles. The stucco was stripped and a new unusual finish was troweled on, using a mixture of Italian clay and sand. They never did paint; the pigment of the clay supplies the color, a burnt amber hue that helps the house blend in with the cliffs it backs against.

While the home has numerous distinctive aspects, the real conversation piece is the 1969 Boss 429 Mustang parked in the dining room.

"We've had lots of people who have walked in and said, 'I would never put a car in my house," Josephine says.

But she's OK with it.

"I think your house has to become a home," she says, "and Drew is all about cars."

The idea came during one of their house-hunting Sundays. One home they looked at had a room so large Josephine joked you could park a car in there. Drew filed her comment away, then sprang the idea on her during the remodel.

"He was like a little kid when I said, 'Yeah, you can do that. We don't need to put a dining room there.' And he says, 'Really?' "

So they did.

Hey, ya gotta strike while the iron is hot! Now, Josephine wants me to park the 1960 250 Cabriolet Series II next to the B9! Too many cars, too little living room space...

for Rustysteele007-- Hat's off to your wife. She is a heck of a sport and first rate partner to allow all your cars into the house.....she's gotta be a keeper. More pic's of the garage when you get time --ok?
