Farely new member. This is the start of pictures of my garage-ma-hall. I built the garage myself with help from my friends and family. We first cleared the woods to make a place for the garage and almost finished in 9 months. The garage is 32' x 48' downstairs with 11-1/2' ceilings, the upstairs is 19' x 48 with 8' ceilings. The floors are a commercial grade epoxy, there's central heating and cooling, airlines throughout the walls, the front work area is 36' x 32' with a woodshop in the rear 12' x 32'.
Hope you enjoy my garage-ma-hall as much as I do.
P.S.- If you want to see any additional photos please let us know. For photos of my work check out www.trentstrickupholstery.com. Trent

You gotta love it when a plan comes together!

I love the stone work!

More pictures... I found the website unavailable: "under construction"

How much of the work are you doing yourself?

Good move on the bow tie in the rocks! Just hope a Ford guys is not looking at your place, but he may not notice until its to late. That would be great as once he notices it he would have to see it everytime he pulled the car into the garage :)

Now I doubt I'll enjoy it as much as you do, but I like it! I'd like to see more pics when you finish the rock work. I'm considering something similar. What are your plans for where the stone meets the siding? Will the stone just overlap it, or is there some transition trim piece there? Also, what kind of epoxy did you use on the floor?

:pimpflash The computer programmer is taking care of some updates for us. Check the site again in a couple of days.
I've done all the work myself (and friends) with the exception of concrete, epoxy and electric!

There is a top cap on the stone with an angle for drainage. There is also flashing under the siding that overhangs the cap stone.
The epoxy is commercial grade. One has to have a license to purchase it (that's what the contractor said anyway?).

Nice garage, & I really like the stone work & the shakes you used for siding on the upper section. I've been looking into that kind since I'm tired of staining the cedar on my house.
